BioProtect, delivered through the BIOPROTECTUs System, is an EPA-registered and NSF-registered D2 antimicrobial surface coating. Its patented quaternary organo-silane chemically bonds to the surface it is applied to rather than sitting on top of it, so the protection becomes part of the surface. BioProtect is made in the USA and contains zero triclosan, heavy metals, arsenic or phenols.
Most surface products wipe or wear away. BioProtect is different: the organo-silane forms a durable molecular bond with both porous and non-porous surfaces, including HVAC systems and food-contact surfaces. Once cured, the bonded coating stays active for up to 90 days and keeps self-disinfecting through repeated cleaning, so a treated surface holds its protection between visits.
The hospital-grade disinfectant behind the system kills 99.999% of bacteria on treated surfaces, including E. coli and Salmonella, in under 60 seconds. The bonded layer then keeps working on the surface itself, reducing the microbes that build up on high-touch points such as door handles, counters and shared equipment between cleans.
Because BioProtect is registered as a D2 sanitizer, it can be applied in occupied spaces without shutting them down. That makes it a fit for kitchens, hotels, clinics and childcare centers, as well as offices, air-handling systems and food-contact surfaces where a longer-lasting clean matters.
